I was fortunate enough to have the weekend off over Memorial Day weekend and headed out to the Professor Paddle Ball in Leavenworth, WA. Thanks to James Amandus, Adam Ales, and others for organizing this yearly event that allows a hundred or so of us kayakers, family, and friends to get together for a couple of days on the banks of the Wenatchee River for surfing, creeking and, of course, the Big Air Ramp (a couple of videos with air ramp shots here).
Anyway, this year I met up with some really fun Portland boaters – Lee Lindemann, Tee Kaochari, Andy and Ted – when I was wandering around like a lost sheep figuring where to park, and from there had a great time boating with them. Lee has some nice videos from their neck of the woods, here’s his headcam from the Canyon Creek of the Lewis.
And more Canyon Creek headcam…
